A recipient from each 2024 category – arts and humanities and biological and life sciences – is chosen by faculty from the broad disciplinary area. The award recognizes distinguished scholarship and research at the master’s level.

Maya Enriquez from the Biological & Life Sciences category was nominated by the University of Minnesota to the regional 2024 MAGS/ProQuest Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award competition.
The 2025 competition will accept nominations from the disciplines of Social Sciences; and, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Engineering.
Excellence in Teaching Award
