Spotlight on Postdocs
Bruno Lima, DDS, PhD, is an oral microbiologist at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in the Department of Diagnostic and Biological Sciences. His research focuses on understanding how bacteria interact with their environment and the consequence of these interactions to their physiology. Dr. Lima’s research is currently funded by a career development award (K08) from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR). He has been actively involved with the University of Minnesota Postdoctoral Association (PDA), initially as the PDA representative to the University of Minnesota Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Alliance for Diversity and Inclusivity, and more recently as the PDA President.
