Dean Tsantir and Paula Baker Win 2019 NAGAP Promotion of Excellence Award
The Graduate School is pleased to announce that the Graduate School's Director of Admissions, Dean Tsantir, and International Admission's Officer, Paula Baker, have been selected as the recipients of the 2019 NAGAP Promotion of Excellence Award for their work as members of the NAGAP Research Committee.
The Promotion of Excellence Award recognizes new or existing methodology that demonstrates best practices for graduate enrollment management. The Research Committee, chaired by Paula, received the award for elevating the quality and usefulness of NAGAP-produced research, and encouraging high-quality academic research in the field of graduate enrollment management.
This national recognition of Dean and Paula's exceptional accomplishments is a tremendous honor for them, for the Graduate School, and for the University of Minnesota. The graduate school is delighted to be able to say that we have won this award for two consecutive years. Last year, the Community of Scholars Program team received the award for creating a nationally recognized model for supporting the academic and professional success of under-represented graduate students in academia.
